About the Air Division TXSG
The mission of the Air Division is to support the security of the United States and the State of Texas -- to protect life and property, and to preserve peace, order, and public safety and to participate in community and state programs that add value to Texas and its citizens. The Air Division is responsible for:
a. Supporting the Texas Air National Guard in accomplishing its mission.
b. Providing air-oriented support forces needed to support the Texas Military Forces in executing their State and Federal duties during State or National Emergencies or when called to State Active Duty by the Governor of Texas.
c. Maintaining a liaison between the Texas State Guard and the Texas Air National Guard for the purpose of mutual support and attainment of the goals of both organizations.
